Guided data routing based on content and environmental factors
25 years of Software Engineering with regard to Object Oriented Real-time System design applied to Voice and Telephony. Engineering perspective is to design at a "cycle counting level" and cover all options, rather than slap it together at a high-level and debug/tweak to make it work.
Projects over this career include system design and engineering for numerous real-time multi-tasking, operating systems related to telephony and data networking products. Authored data file converters, test suites, editors, hardware drivers, business programs, simulation systems, graphics libraries. Specialized in application language development and parsers.
Development of virtual private networks with unified messaging and
distributed
databases (such as distributed offices and unified database or
accounting systems),
virtual Internet related networks, intranets, Internet, and various
protocols. SIP/H323 voice interfaces, with Voice XML, and sip phone
services.
Current project: Digital multimedia distribution system as a client/server model which includes design and implementation of Network Service Elements, AI guided CPE, protected content distribution, distributed information service applications. This includes market analysis, financial projections, proposals, industry contact, engineering and manufacturing processes, vendor analysis.
Development of object-oriented real-time interfaces between Linux and custom SohoNet software, in support of intelligent routing and application services for Small Office / Home Office information appliances (Internet gateway, and call manager).
Currently providing Dial-up, ISDN, and DSL (6/04) Internet Service with hosting, web design, and engineering and hosting services.
Bachelor of Science Degree, Computer Science 1982.
